After check-in each passenger should proceed to customs (identity card or passport is inevitable here). If there is enough time left before departure, there is also a possibility to do some shopping in the duty free area. For those who prefer to sit down and drink some coffee, there is usually a variety of offers to chose from at the airport. Passengers should however proceed to the gate (its number is given at the boarding card received during the registration process) at least 40 minutes before the departure. Boarding at the gate is the last stage of the check-in procedure. Passengers board the plane either straight from the gate according to the instructions given, or a shuttle bus is taking the passengers from the gate to the airplane.
